Bill Geary's Chrysler Turbine Car

Is it any wonder Chrysler was interested in the turbine engine? It's easy to start, smooth running, features ideal torque characteristics, has no external cooling system, runs on any hydrocarbon fuel, and is said to require no tune-ups or oil changes. Okay, so they run hot -- 2000 degrees hot. And they are better suited to steady state operation than with constantly varying RPM as in accelerating and braking. Not to mention that have have no braking effect when you let off the accelerator and they produce high oxides of nitorgen (NOx) emissions.

Here, Bill realistically portrayed the various metallic finishes present on the engine by stripping JoHan's garish chrome plating and recovering them with metallizer paints.
